Hi Malcolm, I am just writing to give you an update on how we have got on with the Cool Calm Collected EXTRA when I tried using it for Maybe. You may recall that, when I initially tried
CC&C I was able to report a huge improvement in his behaviour. We discussed the fact that I would often see a deterioration in his behaviour when the spring grass appeared and agreed that I would
continue using it to see what happened. You will be pleased to know that his behaviour remained consistent throughout the spring months and I will be continuing to use the EXTRA version in the future. I forgot to mention to you at this time that we had actually changed from using Cool Calm & Collected over to Sensible Essentials. This came about because last summer we were having
trouble with poor horn growth and keeping his shoes on. He needed shoeing every 4 weeks and everytime he was shod the farrier was struggling to fit the shoes due to there being very little horn growth. After
being shod he was regularly sore for 2-3 days and frequently suffered bruised soles. This was not helped by the fact that our land is very sandy and has a tendency to dry out the feet, causing them to crack.
I started Maybe on the Sensible Essentials last autumn and since then there has been a dramatic improvement in his feet. Nothing else has changed and this improvement can only be attributed to the
effectiveness of your supplement. I waited with interest for the ground to try out. Even after the recent prolonged dry spell we have had his feet are looking fantastic. My farrier has commented on the
improved horn quality, I have been able to extend the shoeing intervals to 5 weeks and since starting the supplement he has not once been sore after being shod. I now have a far happier horse and overall I
am saving money!! Attached is are a couple of pictures of Clare and Maybe gaining his first elementary dressage points. These were taken a week after we started the 'extra' supplement. Sarah |
