Mac is a new dog!
"I have never considered using a supplement on my dog Mac, but life was becoming increasingly difficult with him as his gun-shy tendencies where getting worse. We could barely walk him anywhere near the house as even the faintest bang of a gun in the distance would see him scuttling back to the house. Gas guns in the fields were scaring him, not the birds and we had reached the stage where even noises on tv were causing him stress.
Two of my horses are on a supplement called Cool, Calm & Collected and I have had amazing results with it, having tried every calmer under the sun. Imagine my delight when I discovered they were going to be doing a canine one! Mac started his loading dose and even within a couple of weeks we were beginning to notice the difference. He'd hear a bang, would listen, and then just get back to whatever mischief he was up to. He's been on it for a couple of months now and bangs just don't bother him at all. He is now a happy, relaxed dog who is back enjoying long walks in the country.
I'll try and send through some new pics of Mac. Unfortunately we don't have any film of Mac being scared.
Kind regards,
Ailsa"
So what do you need to do?
You will need to “Load” the Cool, Calm & Collected into your dog’s system which should take about five weeks.
During this loading period a very small number of dogs will struggle to control their blood calcium levels. So their behaviour may be a bit erratic. THIS IS A GOOD SIGN!! Simply feed the supplement little and often during that period to smooth the amount delivered.
And Malcolm has developed a simple little trick that kick starts you dogs system so it learns to regulate its blood calcium level really well. The powerful trick is to feed the supplement 5 days a week and force the body to work for itself on the other two days.
You probably think this wonder product will cost an arm and a leg
Actually it doesn’t!
After the loading period the quantity given can be reduced. Typically animals cope well at a 1/3rd of the loading amount but again, some need more and some need less, only experimentation will tell you. If behaviour deteriorates, revert to the loading quantity for a while and then try a different frequency. Do not feed Cool, Calm & Collected seven days a week for any significant length of time. The 'on/off' regime actually exercises the dog’s ability to control the blood levels of certain nutrients more precisely.
Application: Cool, Calm & Collected can be sprinkled over their feed. It tastes like Marmite so they will love it!
Loading Rate:
9g (3.4 level tsp) for 30kg (large) dog
